We are elated to have you visit our site.  Pioneering Change, Inc is a community ACTION organization dedicated to improving the world one citizen at a time.  We understand that in order to improve our environment, we must start with ourselves. Throughout this journey, we will educate you, enlighten you and uplift you as we work together to bring change to our community.  

As we better our community, we will become better citizens within our community.  For far too long we have looked outside of our community for the resolutions only we can provide.  We live in this community. We’re aware of what it lacks.  We’re aware of what it needs.  And together we can provide the solutions to make our community a better place; So let’s work together to be the change we would like to see!!!!

Our Mission

To foster innovative exchange, cultural, education, civic and policy programs that advance four goals:

I. Unification.

II. Self Sufficiency.

III. Resolution to issues plaguing the community.

IV. Creation of future leaders.

Our Movement

As we progress toward advancing each goal of our mission, we hope to uplift, encourage and inspire the citizens in underprivileged and disadvantaged communities.  While doing so, we aim to bring awareness to the issues plaguing their communities by giving the citizens a voice and a platform to speak on those issues.  By raising awareness, the citizens and others who share concern can partner to resolve those issues and concerns. This process will attract resources and assistance while gradually eliminating the feelings of hopelessness and neglect many citizens of underprivileged and under resourced communities experience. In turn, it will restore citizens’ hope while building relationships with those who share common concerns and goals.

SO WHAT HAS PIONEERING CHANGE BEEN INVOLVED IN THUS FAR?

♦ Door to door meet and greet with the Gifford community to introduce ourselves, as well as, hear their issues and concerns.

♦Working to initiate a neighborhood watch in the Gifford community to unify residents and promote safety in the community by taking our streets back.

♦Held our first town hall meeting in over 10 years. Planning quarterly town hall meetings and future community activities.

♦ Advocating for a quality education for ALL children. 

♦Working to end racial inequality and discrimination in the Indian River County School district.

♦Working to bring a mentoring program to Indian River County to provide students with role models and a safe place to share concerns, goals and dreams.

Pioneering Change, Inc. held our first meeting on March 20, 2017 and became incorporated in April 2017.  We are proud to announce that we are also 501c3 as of May 2017.  All donations are tax deductible and welcomed.
